Non Chlorine Shock is best used to treat green or cloudy water but is also used as a weekly shock dose to restore the activity of the chlorine or bromine. It is also useful to add a dose as per the directions on the packaging prior to heavy usage. After using the shock, run the jets for a full cycle to allow the chemical to evenly disperse through the water.
