the product has to be attached to glass or a slick surface through a great suction cup. the cat that I bought it for doesn’t like it because she requires human interaction when playing with her toys. this toy requires the cat to bat it around themselves. it is well made and a great toy for the right cat. we have another cat in another area of our home that it might work for.
